The end of February can feel a little sleepy at times. Most of the winter holiday weekends are behind us, the weather is continually temperamental, and Daylight Savings is still several weeks away. And yet, that doesn’t mean the city is devoid of fun events this week. There are exciting pop-ups, Latin jazz dance parties, early Mardi Gras celebrations, and more.
PAY HOMAGE TO A CLASSIC
This Saturday, February 26th Heavy Handed is popping up at Deux Ex Machina in Venice from 12-4pm with a special menu paying tribute to another LA burger institution, Tommy’s. The double smashburger will be topped with a housemade short rib chili, pickles, onion, and yellow mustard, and short rib chili cheese fries will also be available. Both items are only available for pre-order.
